Cancer statistics in Kids: Several types of cancers happen additionally over and over again in kids too. Around 14% of the kids are affected with a type of cancer that occurs in eyes happen due to growth of immature cancer cells in the retina called retinoblastoma, which is a rapidly developing cancer. This cancer develops in the retina of the kids. Retina is the portion of the eye, which detects the light from the outer source. About 10% of the kids’ population is affected with a cancer in the kidney called Wilm’s tumor. This is one type of cancer in the nerve cells of the kidneys, occur mostly in children.
