U.S. Department of Health and Human Services reported eight new carcinogenic compounds are formaldehyde, aristolochic acid, 0-nitrotoluen, captafol, cobalt-tungsten carbide (either in the form of powder or hard metal), riddelliine, certain glass fiber and styrene. So now there are about 240 listed carcinogens compound list.

Eight compounds classified as carcinogens are:
1. Aristolochic acid
People with kidney disease who consume vegetable products with aristolochic acid were found to have a higher risk of bladder cancer and upper urinary tract. These acids are found in some herbal products such as drugs for inflammation, gout and arthritis.
2. Formaldehyde
We have strong evidence from human studies that show people with high exposure to formaldehyde had a greater risk of nasopharyngeal cancer, sinonasal and myeloid leukemia. This compound is colorless, flammable and used in the production of synthetic fibers, textiles, coating products, preservatives, products for hair straightening.
3. Captafol
These compounds used in fungicides to protect fruits, vegetables, ornamental plants and grasses of the fungus. In the United States already prohibits the use of this compound since 1999, and animal experiments on rats have shown exposure to these compounds could cause tumors.
4. Cobalt-tungsten carbide
